When Jarrod first began his nursing career, he envisioned himself working in fast-paced emergency settings. But an opportunity as an agency nurse led him to the aged care sector—and it changed everything.
“I started in aged care simply because there was a high demand for RNs,” Jarrod explains. “But I quickly realised how much I loved the work. The impact you have on people’s lives, the relationships, the continuity of care—it drew me in.”
That opportunity became a full-time role at Harbourside Residential Care in Shoal Bay, and Jarrod hasn’t looked back.
